18TH C CHINESE EXPORT IMARI PORCELAIN PLATE CHINA LATE KANGXI PERIOD (D: 23.2cm). 18TH C CHINESE EXPORT IMARI PORCELAIN. PLATE CHINA LATE KANGXI PERIOD. Is a magnificent Asian export Chinese porcelain plate from the early 18th century 1720's, late Kangxi period in the Qing Dynasty.Plate on footring with a flattened rim and a glazed base. It is carefully hand-decorated in the Chinese Imari pattern, a combination of underglaze blue with overglaze iron-red orange and gold, these plates were produced mainly as export wares to the western markets. In the centre a decoration of a vase with a flowers bouquet lotus prunus blossoms, on the interior rim three sprays of flowering chrysanthemum, the reverse is undecorated. Absolutely a great addition in any Chinese porcelain collection. All pictures are taken outside under direct sunlight, with no filters have been used and none digital photo adjustment done.
