An interesting Chinese export porcelain dish with the view of Schevingen. Schevingen is a small costal town which is near to the seat of the Dutch Goverment in The Hague. In the reference books this subject is decribed as copying the famous Frederik van Frytom wares who made superb Delft dishes, which can be found in the leading museum in the world.From this scene also Japanese Arita versions are known, This dish is a Chinese one and was made in the Kangxi period: 1662 - 1722. The way of painting is somewhat naive and therefore quite charming. Date: Kangxi period: 1700 - 100 % authentic / Guaranteed. Condition: A small chip on the standring (reverse side) and some light wear at 6 O'Clock, SEE PHOTOS, No restorations.
