A beautiful 17th C B&W Kangxi vase complete with original cover decorated with pagoda, cathedral, and floral in panels standing magnificently on display. The vase is from the Vung Tau cargo shipwreck off Vietnam coast in 1690. Such vases are commonly seen in European palaces/museums and typically ordered by the the courts or noble class for display in palaces and home during the 16th-18th century as they are objects of prestige and desire to the aristocrats.
